We can already picture what it would be like to be in it, and then we look back at our present circumstances and ask ourselves: if I want this so much, why isn’t it here yet?

Between desire and realisation, there is often not just time, but questions too. What exactly do I want? What is my part in it? And what is it that I cannot decide for myself or on behalf of others?

Desire becomes direction

By ‘manifestation’ in this article, I mean the process of articulating one’s inner intention and putting it into practice in life. I am approaching this from a spiritual perspective, not as a method that promises guaranteed results.

First, we try to gain a clearer understanding of what we truly desire. Not just the outward form, but also the kind of relationship, value or sense of fulfilment we are seeking in it.

We will then explore the options and do whatever we can. We can do more than just think about the change we want to see: we can learn, ask questions, reach out to others and make decisions.

In this process, letting go does not mean giving up on your intention. Rather, it means relaxing the notion that everything must happen exactly as we have imagined it, and at the time we have envisaged.

Trust in the help provided

In my belief, there is a place for angelic help and inner guidance on this journey. I regard angels as spiritual helpers to whom we can turn with requests and trust.

For me, this trust does not make my own involvement unnecessary. Being open to help and taking action are not mutually exclusive options.

A single event does not in itself justify any definitive spiritual explanation, nor does it entitle us to attribute another person’s difficulties to their lack of faith. This is not a denial of the possibility of inner guidance or intuitive insight, but rather a distinction between what we recognise on our own path and what we can say about another person’s life.

What does it mean to be good at something?

As we move towards a goal, we may find that we, too, need to change. For example, in a relationship built on mutual respect, it may be important to recognise how we ask for things, listen, give, or set our boundaries.

However, this does not mean that we have to become flawless first in order to be loved. We do not have to sort everything out on our own, and it is not a failure if we need support in a relationship.

In this context, ‘working on ourselves’ can mean understanding what we expect from the other person and what we ourselves can contribute to the relationship. Reciprocity involves both people; it is not the responsibility of one person to make the other’s whole life complete.

We do not fully understand other people’s readiness or their decisions. Nor can we shape them simply through the power of our desire: a relationship can only arise from the free participation of two people.

Time is not a mark

Just because something is delayed or does not come to pass does not mean that we have made little progress, asked for the wrong things, or lacked sufficient faith. External circumstances, other people’s decisions and unforeseeable events also shape the opportunities available to us.

Patience is therefore not the same as waiting indefinitely. From time to time, we can assess whether it still makes sense to stick to the same course of action, whether we need to act differently, or whether what we desire has itself changed.

For me, a wish that comes from the heart represents a genuine connection with my own intention. When I speak of the heart’s power of attraction, I am expressing a spiritual interpretation, not a law that overrides the will of others or guarantees external events.

Faith can help us stay on course without knowing every detail in advance. Doubt, meanwhile, can be a question worth listening to, not necessarily an obstacle that must be overcome.

Perhaps this is how desire can become a living connection with our lives, rather than a demand. We articulate what is important, do what we can, and, in doing so, leave open the possibility that the answer may come in a different form, or that we may need to choose a new direction.

With love,
Georgina
Soul4you

We imagine a relationship, an opportunity or a different situation in life.
