According to the teachings of IET, working with angels begins by inviting their help. Request, openness and trust all play a part in this connection; this help may take the form of a door closing and a new opportunity opening up.
In the Integrated Energy Therapy® system, we work with nine healing angels. The following description is based on Stevan J. Thayer’s book The Healing Angels of the Energy Field: it presents the system’s associations between body areas, angels and spiritual qualities. These belong to IET’s particular framework, rather than a universal account of angels across religious traditions.
The terms ‘healing gift’, ‘cleansing’ and ‘energy fields’ are part of IET’s spiritual conceptual framework. They do not denote a medical diagnosis, a statement regarding organ function, or a definite promise of healing. The brief message summaries below follow the Hungarian edition of the book. They are paraphrases, not quotations from the published English text or messages I have personally channelled.
Ariel
- Associated area: soul star, 8th chakra; grounding, 1st chakra.
- Healing gift: the soul’s mission.
- Clearing theme: the limiting human will.
IET associates Ariel with beginning a new phase of life and turning towards our soul’s mission. The message associated with Ariel emphasises embracing the divine presence, wholeness and grace, rather than fear.
The message centres on helping us return to a natural state of being.
Raphael
- Associated area: crown, 7th chakra.
- Healing gift: divine light.
- Clearing theme: the illusion of separation, feelings of guilt and a sense of wrongdoing.
IET associates Raphael with releasing the sense of separation from the divine and recognising our original innocence. An important aspect of the message is that our awareness that we are worthy of love and have potential within us should not remain a mere thought, but should become a lived experience.
The message invites us to experience this truth, rather than merely hear or understand it.
Gabriel
- Associated area: third eye, 6th chakra.
- Healing gift: divine guidance.
- Clearing theme: uncertainty and mistrust.
IET associates Gabriel with recognising our life purpose, seeing opportunities and finding a way forward. The teaching associated with Gabriel invites us to consider a situation with greater love and understanding.
The message offers a more loving and understanding way of seeing the situation.
Celestina
- Associated area: throat, lungs and neck, 5th chakra.
- Healing gift: creative expression.
- Clearing theme: the suppression of self-expression.
Within IET, Celestina is associated with creativity and the soul’s self-expression. The message associated with her calls on us to express our feelings and inner thoughts: through speech, writing, music, dance or other creative activities.
The invitation is to allow our creativity to flow.
Faith
- Associated area: shoulders.
- Healing gift: faith and freedom.
- Clearing theme: conforming to the opinions of others.
In this system, Faith is associated with the inner confidence that helps us break free from the pressure to conform and express ourselves out of love, rather than tailoring every decision to the expectations of others.
The message connects faith with certainty, action and growing trust.
Cassiel
- Associated area: heart centre, 4th chakra.
- Healing gift: unconditional love.
- Clearing theme: heartache and betrayal.
IET associates Cassiel with spiritual support in facing loss, grief, loneliness and broken trust. The emphasis is on hope and on opening ourselves up to love once more, not on blaming ourselves for our pain.
The message offers strength and support for making a change.
Daniel
- Associated area: liver, gallbladder and spleen.
- Healing gift: forgiveness.
- Clearing theme: judging ourselves and others.
IET associates Daniel with releasing anger, resentment and bitterness, and moving towards a less judgemental way of being. The message associated with him draws attention to how our lives can become narrower if we are constantly weighing up what others have done or failed to do.
The message links judgement of God’s creation with a sense of separation from it.
Sarah
- Associated area: stomach and adrenal glands, 3rd chakra.
- Healing gift: empowerment.
- Clearing theme: a sense of helplessness experienced as a result of our own actions or those of others.
IET associates Sarah with the strength and courage needed for change, and with turning towards new opportunities. The teaching associated with Sarah illustrates both support and individual participation: we can receive help, but we must take the step ourselves.
The message reminds us that support does not remove our own part in stepping beyond fear.
Michael
- Associated area: kidneys, 2nd chakra.
- Healing gift: protection.
- Clearing theme: fear, particularly the fear of living out one’s soul’s mission.
The system associates Michael with the qualities of security, protection and the reception of divine light. The message associated with him focuses not on the struggle against darkness, but on the presence of light.
The message uses the image of bringing light into a dark room, rather than fighting the darkness.
Connection and our own path
The presentation of the angels offers an insight into IET’s spiritual worldview. The qualities associated with them include trust, freedom, self-expression, love, forgiveness and security.
We can explore this connection at our own pace, without putting ourselves under pressure. We do not need to prove that we have had a special experience, nor is it necessary to interpret emotional pain as a spiritual failure. IET is not a substitute for medical or psychological help.
